Edgware road has many middle eastern cusine restaurants... but trust me.. the food they serve here is indeed the best one. From the cleanliness to the hospitality to the food and its quality.. i dont think i would be able to go to another restaurant ever. Their lamb shank with rice melted my heart the same way the meat fell of from the bone. The staffs were so friendly and service was perfect. Looking forward to visiting there again.

UPDATE: What a huge transformation! The restaurant is looking fabulous! The biggest change for me was how amazing the new bathrooms are. The new management have done a fabulous job. A big thanks to Hussain for being attentive. Food is still absolutely delicious. One of our favourite places to eat. The free starters are amazing and consist of lentil soup, fresh bread, humus and salad. The service is fast and the food is always fresh. We have never had a bad experience in the last 18 or so years of eating at Azmar, but Afnan was exceptional. He was very courteous, attentive, smiley and polite. Can’t wait to go back!

One of the best Kurdish/Iraqi restaurants in London. A must visit if in the area. Will leave you satisfied. Staff won’t let you go without hot bread. Food is delicious/excellent and brimming with flavour. Must try the Azmar kebab and Tapsi aubergine. Excuse the photos as I couldn’t wait to dig in. Can get a bit loud sometimes but this is expected with a busy family restaurant.

Tried azmar Restaurant in London and had a great experience! We ordered the “kebab for two” and were impressed with the portion—it came with five generous skewers, along with rice and fries. Before the main dish, they served us complimentary items like soup, fresh salad, hummus, and bread, which was a lovely surprise. Everything was well-prepared and delicious. The service was also really pleasant—our server was polite and welcoming. Overall, it’s a decent spot with tasty food and generous portions. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area!

Supremely friendly, helpful and generous staff. We were amazed at the amount of free starters offered, salads, hummus, lentil soup and more bread than you could eat. Prices very reasonable, service was spot on, swift, obliging and friendly. We were a group of ten and were all served at the same time which was great. Very generous servings and overall atmosphere. Be prepared to wait as it does get very busy, and I'm not surpised why! You can a lot more for a lot less for these meals elsewhere but you will certainly not be disappointed dining here.

Never in my life did i see such hospitality and service! I have been to many places, but Azmar stands out. And the food was delicious! Big thanks , greetings from the dutch visitors

Amazing experience the dishes were amazing and especially the naan and special bread with hummus and salad the kebab was even better they've paid great attention to detail and we're super friendly zero problems and you can tell these guys are professionals food was amazing atmosphere was marvellous and I would one million percent recommend this for absolutely everyone after this tantalising meal I didn't leave a crumb would recommend to everyone great meals and great experience

The employees are very kind and welcoming. Very nice restaurant. And the meal is really delicious! First experience in this place and definitely not the last.
